Website usage terms

The information on this website is provided in good faith as general guidance about our mobile vehicle jump-start and car battery replacement service. The prices, arrival times and coverage areas shown are indicative; we confirm the binding price and arrival time with you by phone before any work begins. Submitting the request form is neither an order nor a binding offer within the meaning of Section 1732 of the Czech Civil Code — a contract only comes into existence once we confirm the service together by phone.

The content of this website, including texts and graphics, is protected by copyright and may not be redistributed or used commercially without our consent. We are not liable for damage arising from reliance on the indicative figures shown on this website; this does not affect our liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, nor our liability for harm to a person's natural rights, which cannot be waived in advance under Section 2898 of the Czech Civil Code. We may change the content of this website and these terms at any time; the version in force at the time of your visit applies.

If you are a consumer and we are unable to resolve a dispute with you directly, you have the right to turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, www.coi.cz) as the body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes under Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection.

Personal data protection

We process your personal data as controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Below is the information we are required to give you under Article 13 GDPR.

What data we process

From the request form we process your name, phone number, email address and the place where you are located, and optionally also your car's make and model and your description of the problem. When the form is submitted we temporarily evaluate your IP address, solely to limit the number of submissions and protect against abuse — we do not store it in the database. During the call-out we may take photographs of the vehicle and the technician's notes to document the work carried out. When you fill in the address field, our server queries the Mapy.cz address suggestion service; only the text you typed is sent, not your identity.

Why we process it and on what legal basis

Handling your request and providing the service — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract and its performance); without this data we cannot provide the service. Protecting the website against abuse and documenting the course of the job — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in secure operation and in protecting our legal claims). Issuing and retaining tax documents — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (compliance with a legal obligation). Analytics cookies — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent), see the Cookies section below.

Who we share data with

We do not pass data on further than necessary. The following act as our processors: Supabase (database and file storage), Resend (email delivery), Seznam.cz (the Mapy.cz address suggestion service) and — only with your consent — Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager). Some of them may process data outside the European Union; any such transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We may also pass data to our accountant, our legal counsel, or a public authority where the law requires it. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

How long we keep it

Data from an unfulfilled or cancelled request is deleted within 6 months at the latest. For completed jobs we keep the data for 3 years from the provision of the service, for the duration of the limitation period for mutual claims. Tax documents are kept for 10 years, as required by the Czech VAT Act. Analytics cookies have a lifetime of no more than 13 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data (Article 15 GDPR), to have it rectified (Article 16) and erased (Article 17), to restrict processing (Article 18), to data portability (Article 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time, with effect for the future. You can exercise your rights by phone using the contact listed above; we will respond within one month at the latest. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.gov.cz).

Cookies

This website uses two categories of cookies and similar technologies. Necessary cookies and browser local storage are always active and do not require your consent — they are strictly necessary to operate the site (for example, to remember your cookie choice), under Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager) help us understand how visitors use the site — such as which pages are viewed and for how long — so we can improve it; they are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner, are provided by Google Ireland Limited, may involve transferring data to the United States under Google's standard contractual clauses, and are typically kept for up to 13 months. This processing relies on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time — with effect for the future — using "Cookie settings" in the footer. Rejecting analytics cookies does not limit your ability to use the site.
